Originally, kilims were made by nomads for their own use. They served them as a blanket and as a decoration for their nomad tents. Kilims are very well suited for individual and creative modern as well as classic furnishings. Because of their different styles, patterns and colors, they are also becoming increasingly popular in the western world.
